Sure, like Jesus, people will misunderstand your character, your mission, and ultimately your call, but maybe we should all say less, and when the time for understanding comes, God will make all things known.
You might realize that the purpose of your insignificance to some people may be because God seeks to manifest Himself in your life in such a large way that they notice Him and by seeing Him they see you as His vessel.
But God keeps promises even in the most dismal situations. Every day, I'm reminded of this truth, and I hope these verses in Zechariah uplift any part of your heart struggling to have hope! God promised Jesus would come, and He did...and the good news is He will again.
I pray that if you're unsure of how or when God will come around to bless you, I challenge you to think about what you're anticipating. He might have a plan that requires your trust and physical and momentary discomfort for a greater, godly reward. Remember, everything happens in its due time.
